The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the accounting department functions with a focus on ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
This position will report to the Executive Director, Controller.
Responsibilities include understanding financial reporting and general ledger structure, ensuring accurate month-end and year-end close processes, performing account reconciliations, managing revenue contracts and invoicing, initiating electronic payments, preparing reports for the NBA, reviewing game settlements, coordinating tax reporting, assisting with audits, and fostering process improvements.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 7+ years of experience, familiarity with public accounting and private industry, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and NetSuite, and a strong work ethic.
Compensation includes a salary range of $90,000 – $110,000 annually plus discretionary bonus.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting-related experience
Experience with financial reporting, month-end and year-end close processes
Experience with account reconciliations and financial audits
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and NetSuite ERP
Ability to analyze high volumes of data and identify trends
Experience in sports industry or media sectors is a plus
