Description
- Celonis, a global leader in Process Intelligence and SaaS, is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join their Platform Infrastructure team.
- The role involves building and maintaining a highly available microservices cloud platform based on Kubernetes, designing scalable and secure software, establishing best practices for CI/CD and infrastructure automation, and monitoring environments with telemetry and observability tools.
- The engineer will own various components in a cloud-native landscape, implement DevOps infrastructure, and deploy CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- The team works with the latest tech stack including Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, Grafana, and GitHub Actions, and operates in an agile environment.
- The role requires experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, and a solid understanding of distributed systems, automation, security, and containerization.
🎯
Requirements
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years experience developing/maintaining Cloud solutions in large Enterprise environments
- Experience with at least one of the following cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java
- Proficiency in *nix
- Experience in building highly available, scalable, distributed systems in a Microservices based architecture
- A solid grasp of development, automation, and monitoring tools and practices, including Kustomize, Datadog, Terraform, Grafana, Bash, GitHub Actions
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, CI/CD
- Working knowledge of Containerization, network protocols, encryption, and security
- Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production across multiple infrastructures
- Familiarity with working in an agile environment
