Description
- Caseware is a leading Fintech company with over 30 years in the audit and accounting software industry, serving more than 500,000 users across 130 countries.
- The MongoDB Database Administrator will manage, maintain, and optimize MongoDB databases hosted on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and performance in a hybrid or fully cloud environment.
- Responsibilities include installing, configuring, upgrading MongoDB instances, performance tuning, managing backups and disaster recovery, implementing high availability solutions, and ensuring security and compliance.
- The role requires proficiency in AWS services like EC2, DocumentDB, RDS, and AWS tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and IAM, as well as expertise in Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK with TypeScript.
- The candidate should have at least 10 years of DBA experience, including 3 years with AWS, and familiarity with networking concepts like VPC and Transit Gateway.
- Nice-to-have skills include Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate certification.
