Description
  • The Flight Operations and Pilot Talent Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the attraction and hiring of new Team Members at Breeze including Pilots, Embark and Lear 45 Rescue Flying program participants, Chief Pilots, Flight Instructors, Line Check Pilots, and Flight Ops Training and Operations roles.
  • This position is responsible for delivering the best possible talent with the right skills and experience to drive organizational impact and company success.
  • The role partners with Breeze stakeholders to promote a strong employment brand and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Key responsibilities include partnering on pilot hiring strategies, developing and executing recruiting processes, sourcing candidates through various channels, reviewing applications, conducting screenings, extending offers, managing candidate pools, facilitating hiring committee meetings, maintaining compliance with FAA policies, overseeing visa processes, mentoring team members, and managing applicant tracking systems.
  • The role requires collaboration with hiring managers, creating job postings, managing requisitions, maintaining applicant records, and achieving performance standards aligned with Breeze’s core values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience/training in high-volume recruitment, training, or operations role
  • 4+ years' experience in a Pilot or Flight Ops Recruitment Role
  • 1+ years’ experience using candidate applicant tracking or training management systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Knowledge of FAA Pilot Requirements including restricted and unrestricted ATP
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management reporting performance and metrics
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strategic and forward-thinking mindset
  • Strong knowledge of social media and tools such as LinkedIn
  • Good judgment and confidentiality
  • High-performance orientation, ability to work under pressure, prioritize, meet deadlines, and be flexible
  • Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and desire for success
  • Ability to work varied hours as needed
