Description
  • POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the ITS Project Management Office, the Project Manager will plan, direct and coordinate activities surrounding major department or organizational project(s) and initiative(s) to ensure goals and objectives are met within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
  • Responsibilities include operations analysis, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, development of project work or implementation plans, formation of work groups, management of work group processes aligned with a standard project lifecycle.
  • The Project Manager will facilitate information flow between project members, management and others.
  • The Project Manager will facilitate and operationalize relationships with external organizations, vendors and other strategic partners.
  • The Project Manager has some managerial level responsibility and decision-making authority for assigned projects.
  • Position: Senior IT Project Mgr Department: ITS PMO Office Schedule: Full Time JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Management, or a related field; or the equivalent in work experience.
  • Master's Degree is a plus.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
  • EXPERIENCE: Requires 7-10 years of work experience of which extensive experience in project management.
  • Prior supervisory experience a plus.
  • Experience with tools used for project management required.
  • Experience with business process flow analyses required.
  • Experience with an install of an enterprise wide application, a plus.
  • Background in healthcare preferred.
  • KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Experience in all phases of project management introducing medium-to-large-scale.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills Good software and application knowledge with base knowledge of relevant technologies with experience in software development lifecycle.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office products include MS Project and Visio.
  • Compensation Range: $104,000.00- $151,000.00 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
  • However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
  • This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
