Description
  • Beyer Blinder Belle, an award-winning architecture firm with offices in New York City, Boston, Washington, DC, and Miami, seeks a highly motivated Architect to perform Construction Administration services to join the New York City office.
  • Along with the skills and experience listed below, our ideal candidate is excited about combining their technical skill and CA expertise on high & mid-rise residential/mixed-use projects currently in and heading into CA in New York City.
  • We are looking for a motivated individual who will administer complex projects’ construction contracts, advise on construction techniques, use of materials, building codes, interpret CDs, process shop drawings, and collaborate with the Senior Project Manager and the Partner in Charge.
  • Requirements include 8+ years’ experience in general architectural practice and construction administration of high-rise residential buildings in NYC, a professional degree in architecture, and thorough knowledge of NYC & IBC building codes. Proficiency in BIM and Design Technology is required, with familiarity with Revitzo, Navisworks, or other MEP coordination software preferred. Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $125,000 annually, with benefits including health coverage, 401(k), PTO, professional development subsidies, wellness programs, and a supportive work environment.
  • The role involves managing multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, issuing design sketches, communicating with construction managers, mentoring junior staff, and providing technical guidance.
