Description
- Avanceon is seeking an innovative and experienced Lead Project Engineer to join our Engineering Team.
- Take charge of revolutionizing process automation systems for our valued customers.
- Your expertise will drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions, shaping the future of industrial automation.
- Responsibilities include engaging with customers to design solutions that increase productivity and quality, innovating and architecting tailored solutions, applying new technologies beyond traditional PLC and SCADA, developing, testing, and deploying applications independently and with a team, creating operator interfaces for HMI, and developing control logic across various industries.
- The role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects, experience with PLC and SCADA systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, Wonderware/Aveva preferred), proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, and strong communication skills with engineers, IT, and operations.
- The position is remote or local with project-related travel.

Requirements
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others on multiple projects.
- Experience programming a range of PLC and SCADA systems.
- Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, Wonderware/Aveva preferred.
- Proficient in utilizing AutoCAD Electrical.
- Comfortable communicating with engineers, IT, and operations to bridge gaps.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
