Description
  • AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Company Security Controller to provide strategic guidance on UK Government Security, manage secure facilities, support vetting processes, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • The role includes managing security incidents, leading security awareness training, chairing the national security working group, and reporting to the Board.
  • The candidate must have at least 5 years of relevant experience, UK residency for the last 10 years, and be able to achieve DV clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include ISO27001 lead auditor and security management certifications.
  • The position offers hybrid work options and the opportunity to contribute to global infrastructure projects.

Requirements
  • Must be a sole British national with no current or former foreign nationalities
  • Able to achieve DV clearance without restrictions
  • Resided in the UK for the last 10 years without breaks of more than 28 days
  • Completed or willing to complete the DISA Security Controller Course
  • Membership of the Security Institute and DISA
  • Fully conversant with MOD JSP440, Security Policy Framework, and GovS007
  • Experience managing a national security vetting function and vetting account
  • Understanding of Security Equipment, STaMP assessment, and FSC accreditation process
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant Company Security Controller experience
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Functionality in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
