Description
- The department of Risk Management has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Risk Management Specialist to work onsite on the UHealth campus in Miami, FL.
- The Risk Management Specialist performs basic data analysis using various techniques.
- This role assists with maintaining databases and dashboards to support the department’s planning needs, goals, and objectives.
- Key responsibilities include generating reports and analyzes data for internal planning processes and reporting purposes.
- This role also analyzes data to ensure accuracy and reports any issues to management.
- CORE JOB FUNCTIONS Performs basic data analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining.
- Researches best practices and supports developing the solutions and recommendations for the current business operations.
- Generates reports and analyzes data for internal planning processes and reporting purposes.
- Maintains databases and dashboards to support the department’s planning needs, goals, and objectives.
- Provides basic business data interpretation, such as identifying trends or patterns of data sets.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Health Data Analyst Certification, Power BI and/or 6 Sigma Green Belt (or higher) strongly preferred
- Experience with RL6 and Epic strongly preferred
- Learning agility: ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands
- Teamwork: ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment
- Technical proficiency: skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications
- Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills
